  • Elongated body with a grey-silver color, with brown and bronze streaks on the sides.
  • Large curved mouth with a yellow-gold color in its interior (hence the Italian name “Bocca d’Oro”).
  • It can be cooked in various forms (whole, loins, fillets) grilled, baked or boiled in a fish soup.
  • Very tasty, juicy white flesh.
