  • Selonda Sea Bream grow for at least 18 months in their natural environment, the clean, azure seas of Greece.
  • Its color is silver and between its eyes there is a bright golden arc that looks like a brow; hence, the names “gilthead”, “Dorade”, “Daurade”, “Orata” and “Dorada”.
  • Can be found throughout the Mediterranean, in the Black Sea and the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, from the British shores to Gibraltar and the Canary Islands.
  • A carnivorous species that also consumes vegetable matter. It commonly feeds on mollusks, mussels, and shellfish.
  • Sea Bream can be prepared grilled, fried, boiled, or even as sushi or ceviche. Since antiquity it is considered to be one of the tastiest fish.
