SELONDA Sea Bream with Ouzo from Lesvos | Rena tis Ftelias


  • 4 SELONDA Sea Bream
  • 1 small glass of Ouzo from Lesvos
  • 1 small glass of olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 small glass of water
  • a pinch of finely cut rosemary
  • a pinch of finely cut mint
  • 1 fennel cut into slices
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (~350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2.  Sprinkle salt and pepper on the Sea Bream and place them in a baking pan along with the fennel slices and the ouzo.
  3.  Mix the olive oil and the lemon juice in a blender and pour over the Sea Bream.
  4.  Add the rosemary, water and mint to the pan.
  5.  Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for around 25 to 30 minutes.
  6.  After the first 20 minutes turn over the Sea Bream so the other side is also well baked.
  7.  Serve immediately with freshly ground black pepper.
